As well as relaxing on the stunning beach, which sits only 100ft away from the property, there is plenty to do on North and Middle to occupy the adventurous amongst you.
These attractions include:
• Conch Bar Caves – The biggest cave system in the Caribbean/Bahamas islands.
• Mudjin Harbour – A stunning natural harbour with caves, cliffs and Dragon Cay.This is a great place to see whales during their migratory season (Starting Nov/Dec).
• Haulover plantation ruins and several small traditional settlements that are full of authentic Caribbean/Bahamian charm.
• If you take the short drive over to North Caicos you will be able to explore several fascinating sites including the Wades Green plantation site, the beautiful waters of Bottle Creek, Cottage Pond and Flamingo Pond

To access these sites you will need to hire a car or we can arrange a local tour guide to take you around, the local knowledge and tales that this service provides will make sure it is a memorable experience.

Nature
As well as almost endless idyllic white sand beaches, the islands are home to some stunning wildlife. Whilst driving from the ferry on North Caicos to Bambarra you can choose to stop at the Flamingo Pond where the beautiful birds often can be seen feeding in the shallow mangroves, often in very large flocks. Numerous bird species can also be seen whilst you enjoy the views of the beach in front of the house. Ospreys regularly fly by and the local Pelicans put on a spectacular diving show, plunging into the shallows for fish just feet from the shoreline.
We have created a short bush walk in our garden and the orchids, palms and flowering shrubs are home to many butterflies, birds and iguanas and lizards. Enjoy and please take care of the sun when you are walking at any time of day- getting sunburn is easy to overlook in the Trade Winds.

Diving
The Turks and Caicos Islands are well regarded as one of the best places in the world to dive being surrounded by one of the longest barrier reef systems in the world. This offers an array of types of dive sites and location showcasing a stunning array of marine life and pristine reefs in often exceptionally clear water. As avid divers ourselves we will be more than happy to offer information and advice on the options that are available to you if you wish to make the most of the underwater world surrounding the islands during your stay.
